Touring luggage what is the size of the trunk of the chrysler sebring convertable with the top down?
we are thinking about hiring a sebring convertable for our holiday this year but are concerned about if we can fit our suitcase in the trunk with the top down. Could anyone provide us with exact measurements of space left when the top is down. This is important to us since we are touring and will have all our luggage with us at all times and it will be pointless to hire a convertable if we cant have the top down with the luggage in the trunk. Any information would be appreciated.
I don't know exact measurements, but with my Sebring, there is a lot of room in the trunk. I can have the top down and fit about 7 or 8 big grocery bags in it. If you are going to rent a car, call the company and ask.

How to Pick a Bicycle : Touring Bikes & Attaching Luggage
Well, I'm considering selling my 81' KZ1100, but want to know a fair price for it.
It has about 32k miles on it.
I put on new dogbones & dragbars, grips, front & rear pads, dunlop elite III's - front & rear, used chrome fenders - front & rear, new battery, coils & wires, throttle cable, used backrest, painted the tank & sidecovers.
It leaks oil at the left front side of the valve cover gasket - mainly when it's on the side stand. Also could used a new gasket inside the fuel valve on the tank - spits a drop or two every now & then. Exhaust is decent, but has a small leak in one of the pipes near the top side of the engine. Gets about 40mpg.
It also would come with the factory vetter fairing, saddlebags & trunk, those haven't been painted to match.
Somebody will pay $1500. Ask $1750. Let the bike sell itself and stop being so truthful.

Motorcycle luggage any locksmiths out there (motorcycle related)?
So, i came upon this little scooter, it's kinda like a vespa, but, some chinese knock off brand.
well, it doesn't have a key, and the steering lock is in place. you can't get into the luggage compartment or gas tank without a key either.
from the manufacturer, apparently i can get a key for $40 plus shipping and handling from china - hoping - it actually works.
so i guess something like 50 bucks? i dont know.
my question though is, how much does it typically cost to get a lock smith to make a key from scratch? considering i don't have a broken key to go by or anything....
It varies from place to place. If you take it in to a locksmith, expect 1/2 to 3/4 hr labor plus keyblanks. So, if shop labor is $60 per, it would be $30-$45 labor plus about $10 in materials.
