this is the piece that is on the side where i assume you would mount your saddle bags and sissy bar, my friend just bought a night train and wants me to find this piece in chrome but i dont know what to look for. I am a dyna owner so i dont know that much about softails. thanks
It sounds like you're talking about the fender support, or fender brace. The night train is supposed to be all black, so one piece of chrome would look very out place, unless he plans on replacing a lot of other parts as well. That's just my opinion, so good luck. There are lots of these available, so it should be easy enough to find what you're looking for.

liferyder has his ducks lined up good to what he's sayin. i own this particular bike, and i can tell u its a very strong runner out of the box, and is very reliable. this bike that u are lookin at, from what u say, it already has the stage 1 and that will give it even more pep. the windshield and bags alone isnt cheap, and after the first 150 miles, u'll appreciate the windshield. the s/e pipes are just a little louder than stock, not much tho, and these pipes alone are almost 250 bucks give or take.
as far as how this bike rides, i can say for 100% certainty that in the twisties u'll love this bike. it has a very lightweight and nimble feeling, is rather forgiving, and will take what u throw at it up to the limits of the lean angle. i prefer running the shocks on the 2nd setting for the twisties; gives it a slightly stiffer ride, and i can slam this bike practically to the pegs in the corners with confidence. i would highly suggest u add (if the bike doesnt have it) add a sundowner seat. the stock seat sucks. i can ride 400 miles easy with my sundowner. grab this scoot, take it to the twisties, and enjoy.

tank bag How do I transfer a betta from the bag to the tank safely?
I am buying my husband a betta for Valentine's day, along with a 2 gallon mini tank. I have never owned fish before, so I don't know how to transfer the fish to the tank safely. Will the difference in water temperatures affect the fish?
Fish don't make good gifts, Bettas really need proper tropical filtered tanks, and filtered tanks need to go through the nitrogen cycle first, which takes anything from 2-6 weeks, making impulse fish and tanks a VERY bad idea!
A good reputable aquatics store SHOULD refuse to sell you both fish and tank at the same time anyway.
Temperature differences can and will send fish into shock, especially if they're quite dramatically different. The proper way to introduce a fish to a fully established tank is to float the bag in the tank for around half an hour, dripping in some tank water every now and again. Then introducing the fish to the tank.
If your husband is genuinely interested in fish keeping, rather than sending another Betta to live out a miserable and short life as an impulse purchase, get your husband a good book on tropical fish keeping and start clearing a space for a proper fish tank!
