I have a race car steering wheel. Need to take the stock one off. How do I do it? Don't want the air bag going of in my face either. Its a 95 eclipse gsx i see no nut all i see in front is air bag
Hello there! Im an ASE Certified Technician. This is a simple process. First things first, o be safe disconnect your negative (-) battery cable. On the back-side of your stock steering wheel you will find 2-4 small holes. These are access holes. Inside these holes will be small screws that hold your airbag assembly. Simply unscrew these (they may take special tools such as Torx bits etc.) and the center piece of your stock wheel will become removable. Lift the center out and there will be a couple wires or a simple plug that supply your airbag with power. Unplug these and you will have access to the center nut that actually holds your wheel to the steering shaft. The wheel and shaft are both usually tapered and fit together tightly, so to do this properly requires a simple puller that you can borrow from your local Autozone. Follow the directions that come with the puller and the wheel will come right off. Keep in mind that if you replace it with a wheel that doesn't have provisions for an airbag then this will set off the airbag warning light on your dash. I hope this helps.

Chrome saddlebag Saddlebags on an '07 HD Low Rider?
I love the look of my bike without saddlebags and I bought a handlebar pouch but hated it...it rubbed the black onto my chrome (ugh!)...so I guess my question is if I have no where else to put my stuff wouldn't saddlebags be the obvious choice? I just know it will take away from the whole look.
i bought the easy brackets and a set of saddleman bags for my dyna. easy on, easy off. if you have a sissy bar you can attach your fork bag back there. hd makes a pouch to mount on the front tubes down by the voltage regulator, but it is a bit expensive.

Make sure the saddle bags aren't resting on the seat mounts. Try a little wd-40 on the saddle bags. I know it's tight, but if you put a lot of pressure on the seat it will fit. Try bending the seat so you can get the front and middle started. Then slam down on the rear of the seat and push forward at the same time.

Motorcycle Hardbags Need to install extra motorcycle lights.?
Hi. I have a 2005 Honda shadow vlx600. I purchased hardbags and they have lights on them, one on each; 9 led bulbs in each light, red lense. I am having to relocate my rear turn signals to the back. So once they are relocated, How do I connect my extra hardbag lights? They have two wires for each light; orangish/brownish one and a green one. They don't have plugin connections like the current brake, turn, running lights have. They have female metal connections. I would like to make them into running/brake lights but am not sure if the wiring is made for that. Maybe just running lights. My manual says the "brake/tail light is 12V-32/3CP (2bulbs)". I also want to replace the stock brake/ tail light with L.E.D. lights. The manual also says "fuses- main-30A, other fuses-15A, 10A", Battery- 12V-8.6 Ah, generator- 0.335 kW/5,000 rpm" I have no idea what that means? But maybe you do. Do I need an accessories outlet, new fuses, What is the easiest fix?
the easy fix is cut & solder the wires to the existing Brake/tail light wires...& original fuse should be fine because LEDs draw less amperage than conventional globe,,,
