Yes, 3 oz. or less. Here's the crazy thing. My sister flew just last week and had an unopened bottled of Bath & Body hand cream. It was a 4-oz. bottle so the security guard apologized and threw it away. When she arrived, she showed me a nail polish remover bottle that was 4 oz., but only half full. That went through. They were in a clear plastic bag detected by the x-ray machine to get to your gate. (You know the one where you almost have to strip!).
Go figure. I purchased a travel set of plastic containers that are all 3 oz. That way, I know I am not going over the limit.

I think that TSA allows 2 carryons, 1 personal bag and 1 carryon, but for Southwest airlines, your 1st and 2nd bags are free, and your 3rd bag is $50. But if either bag weighs over 50lbs (another TSA rule) you are fined about $50.

My wife & I are travelling across USA by plane and train - Amtrak. How do we handle luggage (4 bags) on train?
We are in our late 50s. We are familiar with air travel, but some journeys are by train, and we are apprehensive about handling our luggage . We will have about 4 bags, 3 big (23 kgs each) and 1 small (7 kg). Are their trolleys available at stations. Can we get luggage handlers to assist us?
Yes, there are luggage trolleys at the stations ... though not an overabundance of them in my experience ... but I have never had a problem getting one as most people don't use them.
My hubby and I (62 and 49, he has a heart condition, I have limited mobility) frequently take Amtrak, riding coach (not sleeper class). We usually have one large bag and two smaller bags, which we don't check because of the particular train route we take. On other routes, we have checked them.
The seats downstairs in the two-level cars have more leg space, are close to restrooms, and near the excess baggage racks. The upstairs seats have decent leg room, better view, and easier access to the dining and observation cars.
I would recommend checking your larger baggage, and keeping out what you need for the trip ... entertainment, toiletries, etc. We always travel with sandwiches, fruit and vegies snacks, soft drinks, and water, as buying these on the train is expensive. However, meals in the dining car are reasonable and good.
Some stations do have red cap service, but you might have to ask for it.

Theres no magic reason why this is so, its purely because the manufacturer sees an advantage for itself and spends lots of money in that particular area in an attempt to dominate it, its another form of advertising nothing less than that, Theres not much coverage of drag racing here in Europe which is a shame..(dont know about stateside)...put it another way, you can ask yourself why ducati and honda rule on the race tracks and thats for exactly the same reason, they spend the most money to make sure they do..Believe anything other than that and you may as well believe in the tooth fairy and father christmas too!

I like to wear pencil skirts but I have some saddlebag issues (don't ask). I need something that will streamline my hips so the skirt looks nicer. It's not a TERRIBLY big issue, I just notice it and am not amused. Is this what girdles are for? I'm looking for support garments.
