luggage harley I guess i wasnt clear on my firs question about a bike for me?
Ok here goes, I'm 6'5 and 290 lbs. I have ridden dual sport bikes most my riding life, My dad got a Harley softtail recently and i have ridden it and love the way it feels, however my dad is fifty five years old. The harley is fully dressed, luggage racks full fairring even a radio. It is what we have taken to calling an "old man's bike" I don't want that kind of bike, i have been looking at the Harley V-Rod or the yamaha/star Warrior. These bikes both fit into my budget (the yamaha a little better but i can afford both) I'm looking for an honest opinion on these 2 bikes or even a completely different one in the same cruiser class. I am a Harley guy But believe it or not if I had to pick from those two bikes I would go with the Warrior. I don't care of the vrod for some reason. I have sat on the vrod and warrior I found the warrior to be a better fit to my size I am 6'1" and about 178 lbs

You always seem to see vile men hitting on women, who would otherwise turn them down, but then as soon as like 80% of them see that motorcycle in the bar's parking lot, their whole world changes and they go out with the person-usually only for sex, but still....like what makes these men so manly? Because they ride, instead of drive? Because their hair is whipped by the wind? Because they have black leather saddlebags? I mean, really what's the attraction? That it is an attraction, like a ride?

Liner harley Best heated jacket liner for my motorcycle-riding Dad?
I don't even know where to begin. The Harley one is ridiculously over-priced and doesn't even allow temperature adjustment. Help me!
I like the Aerostich liner, but that is because it zips into my Darien jacket. It is also a very warm fleece jacket on its own. I have had a couple of Eclipse electric vests, which both served me well. Never tried a Gerbing or Warm and safe, which both have excellent reps.
I don't get this deal of charging extra for Harley branded gear. I heard if you advertise for The Motor Company, they pay you to wear it. You would have to be a sucker to pay to do their dirty work.
