I have a 1994 Dyna Low rider HD. Want to remove the saddle bag brackets. Do I have to remove my tailight ?
Do I have to cut the wire from my taillight in order to remove the saddlebag bracket?
it should utilize the 2 bolts holding your fender strut on. may have to undo the rear signal lights, but no wiring will be removed, just set off to the side and put them back in place when reassembling.
usually, you'll need a shorter upper shock bolt as well when you take the support brackets off, you can't keep the existing longer ones or you'll tighten them into your rear tire and wreck it
