hiya hunny, DONT WORRY!!! about the size that your friends are realy. i found that when i was 13 all my friends said that they has 22 inch waists and weighed 90 pounds. i freeked out cause i was a similer size to you and when my friends reilized how depressed i was getting they came out and told me that they werent actualy as skinny as they were pretending. they were all closer to 120 pounds and had more like 30 inch waists. so just romember that girls are all defencive about their body image, and they'll lie about it
also you have the body proportions that guys are looking for anyways. (about equal hip and bust measurement and a smaller waist), so your an hourglass thats supposed to be very desirable.

I know it's practically impossible to do at any age but at 13 you really shouldn't worry about your weight too drastically. You really should just focus on being healthy, You said you're a swimmer and that's great exercise so it sounds like you are pretty active which is a good thing. At 13 you're changing so much that it has way more to do with genetics and the rate that you are maturing than anything else so comparing yourself to your friends is just incredibly unfair to all of you. When you are older it becomes more based on the way you take care of yourself but for now, other than eating well and keeping active, it's sadly out of your hands. I was someone who just genetically was taller and more broad-shouldered than my friends growing up and I developed about a year and a half earlier than they did. It's easy to believe that you should always look the same as the people around you so when I had hips and curves and they didn't I thought I was overweight but in truth I wasn't. I was so miserable and self conscious that it became a real issue for me later on and I developed a serious weight problem as I got older. I'd hate for that to happen to you. The best advice I can give you is to ask your mom to take you to a doctor. They will let you know what's healthy for your age and can recommend small changes if you need to make them to keep you healthy.
