I ride a Nightster. I don't like my two-up seat, sissy bar and luggage rack. Only use them on trips. I like my solo seat. I thought about strapping it on my back in a gig bag, but there's no doubt it will just get in my way. I thought about getting a solo rack but I doubt that will work either. Any suggestions? Thanks.
I strap mine to my back in a soft "gig bag". The trick is to keep it from shifting itself around. I tied a knot in the strap and ran another strap from the knot to my belt. Blammo ! Not shifting and hangs well balanced too.

Absolutely. I always carry food with me - the only problem I had was with some bureaucratic customs agent in Toronto. Others have had NO problem with it. Do not bring liquids or gels, however, even if it's unopened.

Barrel bag Need to know how to make Southern Hash brown casserole using fresh potatoes?
I didn't have the chance to pick up the two pound bag of cubed hash browns.. I do however, have a bag of Russets. How would I prepare said Russets to make the cracker barrel style casserole? I read I have to pre-cook the potatoes prior to peeling and dicing? Help A.S.A.P would be appreciated. Thanks!
Try shredding the potatoes instead of cubing- a food processor will make quick work of it. You wouldn't need to precook the potatoes as well. Measure as you go along- @ 4 packed cups is 2 lbs, but I use a scale to weigh certain ingredients to make certain, like flours and sugar. Potatoes are more forgiving so if you are a little over or under don't sweat it! Since the potatoes are shredded your finished casserole will be creamier and obviously less chunky. Make sure you mix the cream soups, sour cream, shredded cheese...all together first before folding in your potatoes. This way you won't have dry pockets of potatoes and globs of unmixed soup or sour cream. Bake according to your recipe. I think you will find that you will prefer the shredded potatoes after you try it this way! My family and friends all make them with the shreds now!
