Can i put makeup in a clear makeup bag in my checked luggage?
im moivng, and i want to take some of my makeup but i was wondering if i could put it in a clear makeup bag in my checked luggage??
Like said before there's no restriction. A clear bag isn't so important. Leaving a US airport your checked luggage goes through a CTX scan. If any items are similar to explosives in consistancy the machine will alert the operator, the operator will be check the item with an Ion Scan device. As I recall toothpaste for example, alerts the machine. You can also check out the TSA website. It can give you up to date info about items. Pack whatever you need and have a good trip.

If you're flying out of the US, you can have any amount of liquid you want in your checked luggage, with or without baggies (I'd put perfume in bags in case it breaks, so it doesn't get all over my luggage, whether I was flying or driving).
If you want to take them in your carryon luggage, you can only take the smaller one in your carryon: "All liquids, gels and aerosols must be in three-ounce or smaller containers." Put the small perfume, plus any other "liquids" in a plastic bag and pull it out before you go through the security checkpoint to let them inspect it. Flying into Singapore, "It is prohibited by law to import the following items into Singapore: Non-prescribed drugs, firearms, pornographic films and literature, cigarettes and other tobacco products, cigarette lighters shaped like pistols, toy coins or currency notes, and endangered animals." (from http://hello-singapore.com/singapore-tips-and-facts.php & I suggest you read that whole page). So it looks like your perfume is fine at both ends; I'd leave it in the checked luggage to keep life simple.
When I flew here to England from the US last, I don't think they even looked through my suitcases, but rather just x-rayed it.
