motorcycle luggage racks Luggage rack for vintage motorbike? Do any modern rack fit or maybe I can modify one?
I have not been able to find a luggage rack for my 1984 Honda Nighthawk CB 700 S and I am getting frustrated. From what I understand, luggage racks just require the bolt holes to be in the right place, but I can find no listing of what new or used racks would fit my motorcycle.
So far, my searches online have found me lots of racks for Hondas and Nighthawks, but none of them for my year and make.
Please help! I just started a job where I have to bring equipment with me on the back of the bike and the satchel barely fits on the back with bungees.

I've seen lots of sportsbike riders wearing backpacks to haul their gear.
It's going to be tough to find custom made parts to fit a 28 year-old motorcycle. Perhaps you could find a "universal fit" unit and modify it enough to work for you.
