Please tell me the signs of authenticity of a dior saddle bag. I bought one off ebay and it was guaranteed authentic. I just got the bag but I am in doubt about its authenticity. Thanks.
If you live near a store that sells that sort of merchandise go there and carefully examine the stitching and interior of the bags. Then feel the outer leather/covering material. I am not sure about the fake Diors, but I have met my fair share of fake Louis Vuittons and Hermes. For those, If its a really bad fake, just looking at it will give it away. Slightly better ones will have the same or very similar materials, but the construction will be inferior (poor stitching in spots, lop-sided, etc) and these may have the wrong liner type if any. For the best of the fakes look at the stitching and liners as these are the easiest way to tell, followed by the feel of the outer covering.

I bought a pair of cheap leather saddle bags for my bike. When I got them outa the box they had this white powdery stuff on them. I used some leather conditioner and cleaner and it made'em smooth and black. After riding in the rain though, that white stuff if back and its all over the saddlebags. Whats up?

How do you tell which side of throwover saddlebags is the left or the right?
when u toss the bags over one side (front or back ) is curved one is straight.. they are not slanted bags so its hard to tell which way they go.
If you can't tell, than neither can anyone else - so it don't really matter... I don't think they are going to fall off either way.
You might check the manufacturer's website - they might have a picture or something.

I am on a competitive dance team and i work out rigorously at practices 3-4 times a week. We don't just dance at practices we do strength excercises and stretches along with the cardio that comes along with strenuous dancing. How do I get rid of saddle bags on my inner things???

saddle bag i'd like to make a saddle bag for my friend- is there a way to that?
my friend and i are really into horseback riding. the rats at the stable ate her saddle bag so we haven't been able to go on the picnic we've wanted to. i'd really like to give her a saddle bag either for christmas or her birthday in january. saddle bags are a bit pricy and i prefer to make my gifts anyway. is there a way to make a usable saddle bag?
Try find some used ones or go to the store that sells them and look over the ready made ones. Se how they are made.
If you're wanting to use leather, go to the leather store, Tandy comes to mind, if they're still in business. You could buy all the leather and leather working tools you might need. Then punch all the necessary holes and lace them together.
Otherwise you'll need a sewing machine capable of sewing leather.
Tandy used to offer leather working classes for free, but otherwise they or any other leather working store would give you all the information you might need.
