you should try doing stretching exercises. I have always had big legs, but i started to do a stair stepper machine and then stretching my legs alot. I was surprised at how thin they got. I mean, my legs are still a little big compared to the rest of my body, but it helped ALOT. worth a shot at least......dont do lipo, too much complications come out of that. LOVE YOUR BODY!!

If I have saddlebags (which I don't, obviously, a friend of mine...) and I wanted to buy some cute and/or sexy panties but not look like a saddlebaggy thigh fat fatster (again, not me of course, merely an acquaintance with this problem, obviously...), which cut would look best on me? I am only 20 so I don't want old lady granny panties.

Without seeing these thighs, I couldn't be sure. Though words like "saddlebaggy" and "fatster" obviously imply big plump legs, all chicks are different. Perhaps stay away from boyshorts, since they would wrap around the upper thigh and add to them. A high cut bikini or string bikini could be pretty, because although it reveals more of the thigh, it sits up higher on the hip making the length of the thigh appear longer than it is, sort of evening it out. Also, look for shaping undies to wear under dresses or skin-tight jeans if you're worried about those thighs. Some shaping undies are intended to stretch down the thigh and smooth out the chubs.

You can do a lot of "focus" exercises, and you can wear a body-smoother (undergarment), as well. That should help.
However (and I'm sorry about this, but it's true), the only way you'll ever get rid of them COMPLETELY is to have them removed surgically, through lipo.

i don't want to go the route of surgery, or stop eating completly, or go buy expensive workout equipment. these might help:
1. is there a type of food that will help me that tastes ok (to you)
2. is there something i can physically do, like squats, that will help me?

There's no way to lose weight in one area. Just lose weight and they will eventually and gradually go away.
