2005 Lexus ES330 Air Bag light changes from ON to OFF while driving with same passenger in seat?
Start driving sign says AIR BAG OFF, thern changes to AIR BAG ON. Sometimes AIR BAG OFF at start & stays OFF. Dealer recalibrated system but no help. Dealer says Lexus is working to fix software. So far nothing. This is a serious safety problem. What can I do? My wife rides in the front passenger seat & I am afraid for her safety.
your dealer is an idiot - change service departments. this is a serious safety issue and covered under your vehicles warranty. i don't care if they tell you lexus is working on software - they are stroking you.
bring the car to the dealer and insist it to be written up as a warranty claim - get the hot line number for lexus and contact them with your problem and provide of where the car is in for service.
keep in mind that you are entitled to a loaner car while in for warranty work, insist on one and let them worry about on how to fix the problem.
